This evening when I left my house in La Canada there was a mist on the windshield - enough that I had to use the wipers. So maybe it will be heavier tonight up on the mountain. Our prayers are with all of you up there on the mountain.

Hi All
Had to get some much needed sleep due to busy days and pulling night duty..then I had church tonight. Lots of prayers going out to our FF heros. Reading the posts here and hearing the bad news from Arrowhead as I was driving home.

According to a friend of mine in Hesperia, all mandantory evacs have been reduced to suggested evac. People are returning to their homes. There haven't been spot fires in Hesperia in a matter of hours. No homes were affected.
Hesperia is fine. Whew!

With any luck that typo'll go down in history with other classic FR words like "series", "hugh", etc. (Appreciated all your fine posts on these fire threads, BTW - and now thanks for the best laugh of the whole week!)

Makes me think of Saugus Cafe ;)
That place, too, used to qualify...but not nearly so much since San Fernando Road got widened to six lanes right there - no room for the schools of bikers to park anymore.

"Barona Casino is on lock-down" and I could just imagine how to some gamblers that would be the ultimate fantasy - locked in a casino, nothing to do but play on, oblivious to what's going on outside! That is too funny, what a picture...thanks for the information. From what I remembered I thought that the casinos were built in areas that would be bad if fires broke out.
