Thanks. I managed to catch the last 15 minutes- I thought at the end of last season David was infected with something (a bio-toxic substance of some kind, transmitted via handshake? I rememebr seeing him pass out(?) He seemed ok last night...and with a new doctor love-interest, too. I must have missed quite a bit!

I thought at the end of last season David was infected with something (a bio-toxic substance of some kind, transmitted via handshake? I didn't see the first part of the episode, so I can't tell you exactly what happened. But, I did read about the writer's plans earlier this year, and this new season is supposed to be three years later. He is already running for re-election.

It appears that there was not a happy ending for Jacko and Kate Warner. She still has some of his stuff. You mean.. she won't give it back?

Great - the first two years we see stupid Kim get into very hard-to-believe dilemas. Now she's whining about her "relationship issues". If the writers can't think of something credible for the character (which they clearly can't), then just kill her off and be done with it. Or maybe send off to cousins in Switzerland.

Did you see 24 tonight? Fox played the season premiere at 8 PM EST, followed by the second (new) episode at 9 PM EST.
Fortunately, I found out about it this afternoon and made plans to watch the first 30 minutes of the first episode.

Three episodes, and the daughter isn't in perpetual Damsel in Distress Mode yet? What's up with that? I wonder when that shoe will drop?

After watching the long awaited return of 24 last night, I felt compelled to try and resurrect this thread.
What great television! Maybe the best episode I've seen in the 2.5 years I've been watching. They are really firing on all cylinders with the writing now, as all the plotlines are finally MEANINGFUL!
I'm looking forward to watching Jack kick some serious a$$ in the next 8 hours!

Having given up on 24 this season, I wonder if I could cach up with the story. After two years of not missing an episode, the story got silly to me after just a few hours.
