Italics are easy:

< i > In front of the italicized phrase < / i > at the end of the phrase (no spaces, though). i turns the italics on and / i turns them off.

The triangle brackets tell your browser that the stuff in between them is HTML code, which is the computer language that your browser understands.

OOPS! Disregard the last post, it worked in the final product. Now I've learned 2 things tonite :)
