No one claimed there were no crimes committed in the Clinton White House, just that there is a valid conservative view toward wanting our self-governance to continue rather than drag it down.

Consider the fact that there were Democrats who wanted to impeach President Reagan for supposed high crimes and misdemeanors related to Iran-Contra. I am not a 'let the chips fall where they may' kind of person, but rather believe there are larger considerations at play, such as survival as a nation.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this point, CJ, 'cuz I just cannot see how holding our elected officials--and their assigns--accountable to the Laws of this Nation "drags it down." Seems to me to be just the opposite, when a class of people is held above the law, our Republic is endangered.
