Bush did nothing that justifies eight+ years of the Clinton (who are still a major threat). Whoever didn't vote to reelect Bush is part of the problem. You know that, unless you are in denial.
Get over WHAT?! Demanding some accountability from our elected leaders?
Demand all you want, but don't get weird on us. Never allow the Democrats to gain power. Is that too difficult to understand? What good is demand accountability when it bites you in the butt?
No argument here...LOL!!
"Whoever didn't vote to reelect Bush is part of the problem."
In hindsight, I'm sure many regret their vote; however, it is simplistic to blame folks for sitting home on election day because they felt betrayed by a politician who told them to read his lips, then stabbed 'em in the back. For better or worse, conservatives are a principled lot, and they don't like feeling betrayed or neglected by those they entrusted with their vote.
"Demand all you want, but don't get weird on us. Never allow the Democrats to gain power."
While I've voted for--and volunteered for--some Libertarian candidates at the local level, I've voted fer Pubbie POTUS's without fail since I became eligible in '84...I'll never vote to allow a DemonRAT to attain Power. Still, there are many who I know believe the GOP is not much different than the RATS, and I think we have 12 months to prove them wrong by laying out a Conservative Agenda that we can expect to be enacted in Dubyuh's second term.
FReegards...MUD
"Demand all you want" and "demand accountability", just don't actually put your vote where your conscience is when it matters? Yeah, THAT makes sense.
Exactly why would the GOP (or anyone for that matter) ever bother to worry about being held accountable if they never have to earn worry about earning my vote? Should they shudder in fear over getting yet ANOTHER e-mail from me? Pfft.
Are you saying that the GOP will "do the Right thing(s)" out of altruism, since your strategy is to vote them in, no matter what? I'm not sure if you've noticed, but politicians of all stripes tend to stop being altruistic once they are in office (with the unholy exception of Liberals and their "altruisitic" habit of giving our money away).
