The message and the market for that message is what drives the success of talk radio programs. Having heard Schultz' program, I can't help but think it is merely a political vehicle for the Democrats as it spews pure socialism. If there were a market for his blather one would hear him on more than the 3 to 6 stations one can find him on now.

Hmmm, off the top of my head, I can think of two reasons this will probably fail as an endeavor:
1) Since it is a blatant attempt at Dem propoganda, we can be assured that it will be uninspiring and hate filled.
2) The most exciting thing to come out of Fargo is Interstate 94.
Heh heh.

West bound that is.

uninspiting=uninspiring

Democracy Radio Democracy Now! has launched an expanded, two-hour War and Peace Report in order to meet a growing demand for trustworthy, independent news and information in this time of war. The War and Peace Report provides our audience with access to people and perspectives rarely heard in the U.S. corporate-sponsored media, including independent and international journalists, ordinary people from around the world who are directly affected by U.S. foreign policy, grassroots leaders and peace activists, artists, academics and independent analysts.

Will conservatives be allowed shows on NPR to make sure it is balanced? VBG

"West bound that is." Glad I'm Eastbound, the road less-bumpy.

This is too rich.
Democrat politicians investing $1.8m to syndicate a talk show from Fargo on 6 radio stations?
This is a prime example of why these people should not be in charge.
To: Lion Den Dan
They're gonna spend how much? You know, since it is going to fail miserably, it would be more fun to have them make a bonfire of all that money because that is what they will essentially be doing.

The wierd thing is that Schulz was more of a right-winger on the radio until about 2-3 years ago.

When reached for comment, Col. Klink was delighted for his hapless sidekick from Hogans Heroes. Klink added, "The only problem I would have with Shultz's new show is...that he knows nothing and he sees nothing...what a dunkopf."

That was one of the funniest bits I've ever seen on TV..and what made it more effective was that it wasn't a sight gag..if you recall..they had the voice of Les broadcasting from the chopper as the turkeys went down, down.....down..
