How is a response to a self-defense situation a "violence on women" fantasy?
Because the discussion on the thread, and the statement I made, was about physical abuse against women by men. But all of a sudden, it became the opposite, a discussion about women doing/threatening lethal violence against men, so as to justify or rationalize violence against women. That's why.
In short, your point was not germane. It's an amazing thing, whenever the subject of physical abuse of women comes up, a man appears who feels it's his mission to point out the extreme situations when violence against becomes heroic.

You laid down the gauntlet by making an absolute statement:
Any man who strikes a woman is not a man. Period.
So then don't complain when the thread takes a turn down that road.
