400-500 feet AGL in a much lighter Seahawk over the Cedar Canyon fire would be...ahem...an experience. It'd be a rodeo in the lighter helo, that's for sure.

Morning Specter and everyone
Tanker on the way for help by this afternoon to help CDF boss still holding back on help from Marines choppers with water drop buckets.
Cedar fire now heading east fast into hard to reach areas not much more then that.
Otay fire 80% contained per the news thats good new.
Paradise fire still going strong Palomar MTN is on voluntary Evc. at this point.

A Seahawk (Navy Blackhawk) is not exactly a Hughes 1000 Little Bird!
And Navy Seahawk pilots who land on pitching destroyers in high winds at night are not exactly "Bob from Channel 8, your traffic eye in the sky" when it comes to flying hairy missions.
