Heart and prayers are with those of you in CA.

We went through this here in Florida in '98. It's not fun.

One bright thing was the outpouring of support for the firefighters by the community. Tons of food, water, etc. were donated to the firefighters to help them during the fires.

I hope that's happening in CA as well.

I'm no longer in California....but my daughter, brother, aunt, uncle, cousins are.....Oceanside, West Covina, Rancho Cucamonga....in other words, in almost every county of the fires.

I don't recall anything like this in Florida. I remember weeks of smog, and I still see the charred remains of trees along I-10, but it wasn't anyways near this bad.
