I love Americans, we rock. :) National News had the story of the FF's, Sat/Sun, who were stretched so thin, they connected a hose to a fire hydrant and left it with the locals. Those guys saved several homes in their neighborhood. I've heard quite a few reports like that, and as long as they are safe, it's wonderful.

I am watching the citizens response with great interest living in Fountain Hills, AZ One match and this place would go up like a Dried out Christmas tree. The cactus is
so dry and the neighbors are so lazy with dried brush next to the houses. I have a roof made clay, but patio made of wood. I am glad we are responding to help (AZ firefighters). I know with our drought it's only a matter of time. Water here is critical.
