Especially since it was on KFOG... highly dubious.
I did hear something like the Church of Technology bringing in their own private firefighters for structure protection...I am surprised some of the "big wigs" havent done this...

The host on KFI this morning ridiculed and scolded callers who declared their intent to stay and try to protect their property. What a pompous jerk! I finally tuned him out.

TV's all focused on that idiot Hahn

I'll bet some fool tries to weather this out on the summit of gorgonio (above tree line).

It's beyond belief. How can we be so helpless in the face of this? We need an entire herd of B-52 water bombers, at the least.

i wonder if they could divert big bear lake somehow and swamp the fire as it approaches. that probably wouldn't work if the fire 'tree hops' though.

If they diverted the lake, it would probably pour over burned out areas and create mudslides though.

If they diverted the lake, it would probably pour over burned out areas and create mudslides though. that will probably happen this winter no matter what :^(
