We've tried to reach relative living north of Santa Isabel near Lake Henshaw and no response either - the phone system must be goofed up.

The Alpine fire near Viejas casino off I-8 has jumped the freeway and
is threatening the exclusive Palo Verde subdivision. IC reports
extreme fire conditions and fire behavior with winds up to 60 mph. No
available additional resources.
