ABC reported even if they wanted to clear the fuel/underbrush there is no money to get the job done.

We could put those doing community service for law violations and inmates on the job, couldn't we?

We do it that way here in "Grand Central Texas"
Inmates are always doing things like washing school buses, cleaning and racking cemetaries, picking up trash along highways, etc etc.
