I was just able to get in touch with some friends from Scripps Ranch.
They stayed over night at a hotel and they are trying to get back in now to see if their house is there. I know they just put on a new roof but their street was one that was devasted so I don't know if a new roof would be enough to save their house.

Oh God, I don't either. The video pictures look awful. The Mayor and other heads are talking now, soooo.
