I'm not convinced she knowingly would have taken anything --- what if she was being poisoned by a husband who saw the "fat" pictures and decided he wanted to be rid of her. We had a case here where the man was losing weight, they tested him for cancer, for all kinds of diseases, he kept losing weight, getting sicker and sicker, losing his appetite. They finally tested him for heavy metal poisoning and found the problem -- arsenic --- his wife was putting arsenic in his orange juice --- trying to murder him slowly.
