I read somewhere (I'm still looking) that Terri's parents (the Schindler's) owned the condo complex where Micahel and Terri (and her brother) were living. Why would they want the money except to take care of Terri? They don't sound like they are hurting for money.

If they owned it .. you're right .. they aren't hurting for money
Then there is MS's claim that the VRWC are funding the parents .. so by MS's claim, they wouldn't need the money either
