I'll bet you believe Michael's story that Terri told him she wouldn't want to live on life support though, huh?

I'm sure I've mentioned to my husband that I wouldn't want to be kept alive on machines for years on end. Still, I thought I needed to clarify that. I asked him not to dehydrate/starve me to death. "To doctors today, it's perfectly normal, and they might want to push you into it..." Well, he was insulted that I even asked.
"What am I, cruel? I can't believe you'd think I'd torture you like that."

But do they know "life support" now includes food and water? How many would say, "Sure, hon. Go ahead, starve me to death. It would be for the best."
