I have talked to some white electricians and plumbers who say the Illegals are landscapers, masons, slab pourers, and were not concerned about it. In other words, they did make the argument about the Mexicans being the only ones who would do certain jobs for the money paid by the builder. They said they themselves were not threatened or concerned by it.
I figured they might have looked at it differently, but no.

What are you talking about, everyone working in the construction industry except the owners, are outraged as their freaking wages are being incrementally reduced, as they are having to compete with illegals, that are less skilled, but work for less and don't bitch....

They might look at it differently if it ever comes to the point where you only need to know the right people and grease the right palms to get your electrician's or plumber's license.
Do they even bother to license electricians or plumbers in Mexico?

That is surprising- if the skilled trades aren't going to worry about this, then their jobs will soon be gone to a $6.50 -an-hour electrician from Guadalajara and a plumber from Guyaquil.
