hubby can still control everything about Terri but the feeding tube.
Yea, this statement sums it up very well!!!! But I think there is so much money involved that the "fiancee" will stick around (after all she has a delivery coming) indefinitely to collect! Would that she have her baby tonight! So, it looks like there will be no therapy for Terri under the legislative act. But the courts seem unable to remove the feeding tube again unless the Chiles-appointed Supreme Court (the one that favored selected recounts to favor Al Gore, Jr.) rules the law unconstiutional. Then Terri is in immediate peril again.
So the big winner after all was the late Governor Lawton Chiles, who has appointed this dearth of runaway liberal judges in FL.

CNN Headline News just reported that the guardian will be her "advocate," but Michael retains "decision-making power." What's the point of the guardian, if he has no power?
This is crazy....

You're so right about the Chiles appointed Supreme Court Justices. I think 2 were up for retention last year and I tried as hard as I could here on FR to pass the word but they were retained anyway. I've always thought judges were more dangerous than the legislators. They're unaccountable and there's no way for us to get information on them.

Would that she have her baby tonight! I'd think it safer for her to get the money by making some photocopies of some records while Michael's busy running around, then disappearing and sending an anonymous note with a copy of some records and a suggestion that he and Felos might want to scrape up $500,000 and wire it to an offshore bank.

(Why is it that the more "gun safety" laws are passed, the less safe my guns seem?)
