To: sweetliberty; Coral Snake
If I remember correctly, Coral Snake posted the information that Federal requirements are such that one must be terminal and expected to die within six months before hospice care is ordered. I believe it might be in a thread he started yesterday, but I don't remember the title.

Since she is just entering the hospice tonight, are we then to assume that this is a new admission and that she is expected to die in the next six months?

It was in the long thread we were on last night and much of today.

CS, was that your post to the information about hospice having violated federal law in accepting Terri in the first place? If so, could you link the statute here? (See post #397).
