They also have other laws that they have been neglecting to enforce, ie. removal of guardian laws. None of this "right-to-die" stuff should even apply to Terri , BECAUSE she is not in a PVS, by their own definition. I think the legislators had every right to change the law, when what they were intending was overruled by the judge. It's very clear when you read the Florida statutes, what the intent of the law was. It is supposed to be applied narrowly, not liberally. Because Judge Greer was misinterpreting the legislature's intent, the legislature has every right, indeed the duty, to correct wrongs that are stipulated within the law. They vote to change a law. They change the words , the definitions, etc. It was clear to some of the legislators that what happened to Terri was not what they intended when they wrote the law the way they did in 1999. This wasn't supposed to happen to Terri. And because this was a life and death situation, there was no time to waste. They felt they needed to give Gov. Bush the authority to stay this judge's order to remove nutrition and hydration from Terri. If the legislature isn't responsible for making laws, and amending them, then what is their purpose?

It is evident from the reactions that the demons of hell have been disturbed by this action. They have no more powerful ally than the courts and the rest of the government, driven by the people, actually did its job and the demons are screaming. I say we flush them out and retake the territory!!
