I AM RESPONDING: "It literally takes SECONDS to reinsert it."
I AM ADDING: "It would pop right out from time to time when we would accidentally lean against it, against the crib, or on it while putting our daughter down in bed (hers did NOT have a blow-up bulb on the end, but a flexible bulb)."
I AM ADDING: "Originally, after the surgery to install it the first time, we had to go into the ER to have it reinstalled if it came out. When we found out it just required a "Grooved Director" (a 10-12" long skinny v-shaped rod with a Y-forked groove to hold the end of the tube), and we could buy one for about $2.00, we started putting them in ourselves with a little K-Y Jelly and a quick twist."
