If Governor Bush is now her guardian, how is it that Michael Schiavo is still barring her family's access to herAs I read the law, Bush isn't her guardian, but can order a new guardian to be appointed for her. However, a court must actually appoint the new guardian, and the bill was passed not even 24 hours ago. I believe someone else posted that there was supposed to be a hearing on appointing a new guardian this afternoon, but I have been reading so much on so many different threads I can't remember where I read it. Would love for someone with more info to say when that hearing will be.

The hearing is going on TODAY per Terrisfight.org. Please see my tag line. Hope that helps.

"I have been reading so much on so many different threads I can't remember where I read it." LOL! Yeah, that's my problem too. Well, I hope something is done fast. Terri needs the loving touch and support of her family to facilitate her recovery from the ordeal of the past week. She sure as heck isn't getting it from Mikey and his goon squad.

Just spoke to the Governor's Office, who said the staff was not aware that Terri's family was not visiting. I did ask how that could be if the Governor were her guardian ~ he said the Governor was NOT her guardian.
I told him the internet was now abuzz with information that the family was prohibited visitation, and that the Governor's office should gear up for an onslaught of calls and e-mail. I specifically requested that he make the Governor immediately aware that the family was barred. He said he would.
