Given that the two statutes are in conflict, haven't the Schindlers litigated this? If not, why not?

All court matters related to Terri are required to go before Judge Greer. He states that spoon-feeding would kill Terri; thus, it is so.

Spoon-feeding Terri would kill Terri, but killing Terri is okay. Oh, that makes perfect sense.

And that, indeed, is the problem.

I'm sure, if the Schindlers file a wrongful death suit, it'll be done in federal court so they don't get Judge Greer assigned to the case.
