The popular George W. Greer was appointed by Lawton Chiles and retained by the people in a 1998 plebiscite, the same day that Jeb Bush was first elected governor. If he runs again, George W. Greer faces a 2004 plebiscite on the same day that George W. Bush again appears on the ballot.Thanks for the info on Greer's election. I wondered when he was coming up for re-election. Do you think he'll run again?

I would have no idea if he wants to serve another term. Killing Terri may consummate his legal ambitions. He is probably looking for a footnote in the "Book of Euthanasia" that will be published in the words of Clinton "sooner, rather than later."
