It seems the curse is intact. This game was a shocker...I thought Boston had it clinched. I kept channel surfing because it was too painful to watch. Then, all of a sudden it was tied 5-5. Amazing game.
Amazing is an understatement. I was there and it was the most exciting,incredible sporting event I had ever attended. Boone's ball was coming right at us and it seemed as though we knew it was a homer and started celebrating before the folks on the first base line. We had Red Sox fans in front of us and they left so fast alls we saw was a wisp of smoke behind them.
Punk Pedro wanted to complete the game and beat them Yankees on their own turf. His arrogance cost his team the World Series, in my humble opinion.
My voice has left me and I'm still getting goose bumps. What a great evening.
