Yes, he said that. Regarding the series between the Yankees and the Diamondbacks, right after the terrorist mass murder attacks on the World Trade Center. Remember when President Bush made the first pitch for a game in NY? He was asked who he wanted to win the World Series and he said the Diamondbacks because he'd like to see "anyone but the Yankees" win. He said it in a good natured way, not so serious or anything like that.
