These teams have played 19 times in the regular season. New York won 10 and Boston won 9. They are tied 3-3 in this series. This is about as evenly matched as two teams can get.
Both the Red Sox and Yankees have exactly 29 runs in this series. I think that whoever gets the 30th run gets to the World Series.
