I have to assume that had they been able to see a full thirteen years into the future and divined that strictly going the court route was going to prove so fruitless, they might have thought to explore a few other avenues. How about even a year ago? Or two?

If you bothered to even attempt to inform yourself, you'd realize they have been in litigation over this for *many* years. They've done everything they possibly could through the legal system. The judge that ordered this has old connections with the husbands attorney so they even requested that a new judge hear the case but the current judge himself said No to that request. They've tried going to the federal level and everything. READ MORE about this. Not that it would change your mind.. you are just another "right-to-die" groupie.
