I am asking if Terri has ever been asked that question.

Assuming that she has, is she capable of answering? I do not believe that she is.

Do you know?

No.

That seems to settle it, doesn't it?

If she hasn't been asked that question, because she cannot answer, then no one can assume that they know what her decision is.

Yes, I know the argument about living wills and how they are so important.

However, not having the answer to that question truly does call into question what her wishes are.

And then we get into the hearsay. So, the case is determined by applicable laws, and the interpretation of the facts by the judge.

Perhaps now people will realize that their issue should be with the judge, no matter if they are a supporter of Terri or not. This is why judges are so very important, and we should always be concerned and educated as to where they stand and what type of court they run. This judge may or may not be legislating from the bench. But that is an issue for the legislature of Florida to determine. Perhaps Florida will end up having a Terri Schiavo Law, when this is through.
