The three-year conflict between Israel and the Palestinians had previously killed 49 Americans, most with dual citizenship, and all in random attacks. Wednesday's bombing that killed three U.S. diplomats in Gaza was the first time Americans were intentionally targeted.

Until now, the most notable American death was that of Rachel Corrie, an activist killed March 16 when she placed herself in front of an Israeli bulldozer destroying the home of a terrorist in Gaza.

This editorial's writers are clueless. US diplomats have been murdered by Islaminazi terrorists several times in the past couple of decades, with minimal consequences to their handlers.

I agree with you about the Chinese, especially after reading Bill Gertz's book about them.

However, I think the money is also well spent fighting terrorism. WMD in their hands would be disastrous and considering that 9/11 cost our economy a minimum of $500 billion, that money to rebuild Afghanistan and Iraq is peanuts.

Just finished reading one of my first fictional books in a while - Vince Flynn's Executive Power. It details our relationship with Israel and how we give them so much money to boost their sagging economy that they pretty much do as we say with regard to the Palestinian problem. Don't know the truth of what's in the book - but it's an interesting read.

That is a totally fabricated "fact". I follow this stuff closely, and nowhere at any time have I seen a tabulation of the actual citizenship status of the murdered Americans. Many of them, I know for a fact, were simply American Jews visiting Israel. The number of dual citizens is actually tiny.
