This almost brings tears to my eyes....
"Iraq and the whole region are on the threshold of deep fundamental changes... My country reached [a level of] devastation that other [nations in the area] never experienced... As we all know, the Americans, who took upon themselves to affect change, are the trail blazers in eliminating a bloody regime the likes of which the world has never seen... [We should admit] honestly that if we want to affect true change in Iraq, one that will cut through the layers and reach the core, there is no escaping [help from the U.S.]
"We the Iraqis have already proven our helplessness. With all our ideological forces, our leaders, our masses and the weapons we possessed, we have proven our inability to move even a single hair in Saddam Hussein's mustache... and since only the Americans are able to change Iraq, and since they are the only arm capable of reaching the thief in his den, the terrorist in his cave and the despot in his hiding stronghold... there is no escaping from American help..."
If We Want an American Umbrella to Re-Educate Our Leaders
Thank God we have a President who is willing to put it all on the line in order to change world.
God Bless President Bush

They think that somehow their opinion is more important and valuable than the opinion of an Iraqi!Liberals are true racists. Few people realize that.

This man needs to give a speech at the UN.

I agree, MJY.
I've been asking my elected reps for months to read the WH Iraq archives - "Tales of Saddam's Brutality" - into the Congressional record.
Knowing how the Iraqi people suffered, most wouldn't then demand that they suddenly be healed and able to run their own country after 30+ years of torture.
I sent most of our Senators the following last week (for the 87 B debate):
8 "Will of the (Iraqi) people!"
8 THE CRUELEST COVER-UP
The Iraqi people and our troops (because they) both want Saddam gone and the US in charge of stability ops, have both been ignored by our press.

I agree, His ability to paint a clear picture of how things are changing for the good is a picture the entire world needs to see and understand.
Of all the things I have read from Iraqi writers, this guy is a home run hitter on the scale of Mark Steyn or the Christopher Hitchens of late

President Bush should read this in the middle of a address to the nation, As we know, he has the ability to capture the attention of the entire Nation by simply asking for airtime

Hypocrisy, thy name is Liberal. Everyone should recognize the vile and hypocritical cynicism of the left in this country and the West for what it is, a completely amoral thirst for power, regardless of the results of the policies of the left. Here is a clear and unambiguous voice making plain the reality of what Iraq was, and what America has actually done, which is to liberate an entire nation! WMD or their absence is merely a rationale for political sloganeering and opposition by the left to a policy, the Bush Doctrine, that does not aid them politically. If it did, they would be claiming it as their own.
If Bill Clinton had been anything like an true American, and not the cynical leftist phony and coward that he is, he might have taken the difficult and correct path of removing the hated, genocidal Saddam regime from the earth. But his concerns were not for America or Iraq, but for himself. Thus, his mindless followers spout the empty rhetoric of a failed party, the party of Fraud- the Democrats.

I am in awe. This should be required reading for every journalist, protester and member of Congress.

Why is it that creepy elites are the same the world over?
"While others were sipping Araq [an alcoholic drink] in the most upscale resorts in Baghdad, thousands [of Iraqis] were being buried alive in Iraq's sands, deserts, lagoons, [and] vast and godforsaken plains. And while Arab journalists, intellectuals, politicians, and poets came to sing with their trilling voices, to beat the drums [in support of Saddam] and to take pictures with Latif Nassif, Jassim and Nawal Al-Aloussi, and the rest of the Ba'ath Party 'gang'- hundreds of [Iraqi] poets, scientists, and writers were dying [on] the war-front and in torture dungeons. During more than three decades, the dagger of death extricated Iraqis from their homes, their families, their work places, their schools and their [children's] playgrounds..."

To seek your freedom, your democracy, means rising up from behind the sand-pile, and looking in the eye of the promise of prosperity . It is not an easy thing.
The happy ones and the capable ones will see first.
Can they convince their sheeple?
