Wouldn't stop the NYers I know (switching allegiance to a frontrunner, not driving) -- and you do realize that there is more to NY than NYC? I went to school in central NY, and there were many with split/rotating loyalties that included the Bills and the New Jersey teams.
That was exactly my point. It seemed to me you were lumping Buffalo in with the other NYC-area teams. A lot of people don't realize how big a state NY is. I grew up in Rochester, and when I moved down south, people asked me what it was like living near NYC!
