Pretty sure the midterms will be about ACCOUNTABILITY
Without it the base, which has been waiting since 2016, may not bother showing up.
The problem with “inflation is cooling” is that the actual inflation rate (ie., growth in prices) for 2025 is going to be almost as high as 2024. Overall, absolute prices have slightly risen, and most people were getting killed in 2024, by high prices.
One good sign has been gasoline prices, but they have jumped by 30 cents or more in the last few days, here in the mid-South, and this seems to be mainly due to international tensions, even tho’ crude is only up slightly. US crude inventories dropped sharply (more than expected) - I’m not sure why. Refiners leaving CA can’t be helping - the fuel has to come from somewhere...

About “pricing” insofar as Trump’s refusal to execute the promised mass deportations will keep housing costs high and basic worker wages low.
Prices and fraud. WATCH!...as liberals scramble to prepare for an IRS audit.
Midterms need to be about gov corruption.
Yet more trash from Politico who I’m fairly certain hasn’t an ounce of political bias.
President Trump is right. The skyrocketing food prices — groceries and diners — would SINK any administration — not just this one.
Also, many of the tax cuts were greatly- overhyped — as taxpayers are just now beginning to discover. Or only temporary.
These things need to be repaired asap fast now if the R’s expect yo get anything other than trounced, fired in elections.
It would be foolish to bet even two cents on a GOP ticket if the election were today. So sorry to have to say. . Imho, PDJT needs more time to make good on his promises, hopes for America
My a lot of TDS on FR today comrades.
I believe inflation is down, but don’t see it a whole lot in prices at the grocery store. If inflation is down since Biden was president, it seems we are still at it only from a starting point of those prices under Biden.
This is all about beef prices…time to give the big 5 meat packers an ultimatum….drop your prices or we do what we did to Standard Oil.
