To me, it seemed that what he said he would do as president are things that Trump already did. (That PINO Joe EO’ed out of existence in a heartbeat.) And his style was stilted, monotonous and droning — obviously being read.

He’s probably a decent guy, but not someone who’ll knock the socks off of voters with his magical charisma.

DeSantis doesn’t have the high level of negatives that Trump has. I know several female Republicans who absolutely despise Trump and refuse to vote for him because of Trump’s demeaning manner of talking about women and to women. Trump needlessly makes enemies and he can ill afford to do that if he wants to be elected again in 2024. But I don’t expect Trump to ever change. So I will vote for DeSantis in the Tennessee Republican primary (if he is still running that is), but would definitely vote for Trump again in the 2024 election.
