I agree,You can’t claim Jesus as your savior and support that which is an abomination to God. otoh Gays can be saved by the grace of God . you don’t have to act on homosexual tendencies, and you should not support that which is depraved. there for it is possible to be a saved homosexual..

I occasionally point out that Romans 1:18-32 doesn’t really apply to those who had no knowledge of the Lord to turn their backs on and refuse to retain.
The highly educated and knowledgeable — and yet unbelieving — clergyman, preacher or latter day Pharisee is really the archetype of those at risk of being turned over to reprobate minds rather than a pagan in India who has only known paganism.
Of course to those in countries like the United States where the knowledge of the Gospel has been soaked deep into public conscience so much so that it wasn’t too long ago that a homosexual activist open admitted that homosexuality was incompatible with Christianity many more people are at frisk from being turned over as well.
Ironically many homosexuals proper are possibly easier to bring to repentance than those who champion them in society.
There is, however, something deadly that Satan seems to have thrown into the mix in recent decades that works against them repenting and that is the idea that homosexuality is a cornerstone of who they really, really are ... all this born that way guff.
Understand that “in Christ” is a new creation ... having the indwelling by the Holy Spirit is a fundamental, no, THE fundamental aspect of our identity and who we really are. So much so that when the Father looks at us He sees His Son.
If someone thinks “homosexual” is their identity then a call to repent is to them a call to deny who they think that they are..
I do not see that this fundamental confusion between what they do and who they ARE was as necessarily as bad in the past. Yes, it may have been on an individual basis but as the organizing principal by which a whole group obtains and maintains their very sense of self? That seems new-ish.
