Good points. Also, he does have a resume, as a senator and vice president, but that will hurt him in the democrat party, because the democrats are all about being something, rather than accomplishing something. A white man with accomplishments just won’t go anywhere anymore in the party.

Well, until Obama, loser candidates fit that mold. Kerry, Gore, Mondale and Dukakis had resumes and went when it was their turn. They are more likely to win the presidency when someone comes out of nowhere: Jimmy Carter, Barack Obama. Bill Clinton might be the exception, and he pulled it off because of a very weak field (Paul Tsongas?!), and was an unusually skilled tactician. Also, even though he was well-known in political circles, and had an important but widely panned speech at the 1988 DNC, he was still a fresh and at the time youthful face to most of the country.

Sanders, Warren and Biden are too old, and are all old news.
