It is astonishing, especially that statement that the Left requires “...a level of purity that the right just does not...”
I recently went back and looked at Barney Frank and Maxine Waters speaking in front of a committee looking at the health of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac back in 2003, and saying criticism of the health and practices of those institutions was politically based and racist in expression...that there was nothing wrong with them, we as Americans should be proud of them, and that no government funds would ever have to be used to bail them out, that they were self sustaining and budget neutral.
The reason I was looking at these again was that the reprehensible, corrupt, and racist Maxine Waters is probably going to run the House Finance Committee when it changes hands.
Astonishing. Simply astonishing.
