Well this election should resolve the “blue Texas” question at least. Here is a statewide election where every democrat will be voting for Robert O’Rourke - as I suspect less than 1% of them are going to cross over and vote for Cruz. And I suspect less than 1% of Republicans are going to cross over and vote for Robert.
Don’t forget that most voters in the United States are registered as “Independents” not Democrat or Republican.
and yet I don’t hear the “straight ticket democrats” bragging about their support for a wackadoodle nominee for governor.
