It’s Doug Jones, not Paul, and I figure before the Alabama primary, Trump was probably told (by McConnell and several other lying Rinos) that Moore was positively, undeniably guilty of pedophilia, and that the story was going to break. He doesn’t know Moore, so he believed what he was told, and threw his support behind Luther Strange. Then, when the Moore accusations started to smell like a set up, he decided to support Moore. That’s the only logical explanation of his “support” for Luther Strange. Trump’s been lied to by Rinos since the beginning, but being a political neophyte, he still tends to believe some of the things he’s told, by people he ought to be able to trust, but obviously can’t. I think his remark about how surprised he was that there weren’t conservative bills on his desk for him to sign January 20, proves he did not have a clue how dirty the swamp was. I think as a non-politician, he still tends to take people at their word. He’s learning the hard way that he’s surrounded by vipers, and that there are very few people in Washington he can trust.
