LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nine months into the Donald Trump era, Democrats are still searching for a standard-bearer and a crisp message to corral widespread opposition to an unpopular president and a Republican-led Congress.
The minority party has put that struggle on vivid display this week in Nevada, site of Democrats’ first national party gathering since a contentious chairman’s election in February. The party’s congressional leaders and potential presidential candidates mostly stayed away, with the exception of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, whose name has surfaced among possible 2020 hopefuls.
The activists and party leaders who did attend expressed optimism over their rebuilding efforts, but also lingering resentments from the 2016 presidential primary, confirming that the battle between liberals and establishment Democrats continues long after Hillary Clinton dispatched Bernie Sanders but lost to Trump....

They are playing their 20th century game. Welcome to the 21st century, Dems. The Revolution has to get in control so as to get completely in control of the truth. The revolution failed. That’s what happens when you try for an overthrow without guns. How do you counter The Truth WITHOUT brute force?

Putting aside the broad and incorrect assumption in the final phrase, the only way for the Democrats to craft a "crisp" and appealing message to 50+1% of America is to kick their hard Left freak show to the curb and become Americans again.

HH was considered ridiculously “square” and his nomination is what triggered the absolute bedlam at the 1968 Chicago Convention, not that they weren’t there for trouble in any case.
I’d suggest a minor adjustment in campaign approach, myself. “You suck and you’re to blame for everything that’s wrong on this long, long list I got here and so vote for me you racist, sexist bastards” might be considered a bit indiscreet, especially by those on the receiving end. Doubling down, as Hillary did, “we’re Stronger Together and we’ll roll over you and break your damn glass ceiling”, was worse. Do as 0bama did, smile and wait until you’re in office to screw ‘em over.
What should be a part of every high school curriculum - learning about the history, care, feeding, and grooming of a sidearm, and the necessary skills to aim, fire, and reload the weapon, to the end of being able to hit a designated target in a consistent manner, and for a specific purpose. Definition of target and accuracy of aim are the important aspects here. The actual performance of firing the weapon depends on control of body motion that would compromise the accuracy of the aim, such as sighting down carefully on target, suppressing breath, and squeezing off the trigger smoothly, not jerking it back.
Requires coordination developed through repeated practice.

hilarious to see this in print because for the preceding nine years prior to trump being elected, we were assured in hundreds of “news” articles that the genius Dems were light years ahead of the stone age Pubs in terms of IT and social media, and that the Pubs could never possibly catch up.

assuming that it’s true that they really are “tantalized”, then they are STILL deluding themselves: pretty much all the polls but the fake FNC one shows Moore ahead by double-digits.

i think it’s pretty well known that if you HAVE to yell “We’ve got game,” at the top of your lungs, then you don’t.
