But he’s a hero. The media says so! The entire Congress must come to a stop! It’s just a coincidence it stops Trump’s agenda cold. The Republican Congress is firmly behind our President and working on our behalf - tirelessly, day in and day out - well, unless they’re on vacation, or don’t feel like it, or have anything better to do.
Facts are, McCain is both seriously ailing with cancer and, even worse, he has gone senile, as his open public testimony recently & clearly outlines. Poor soul has lost his marbles in & with his inner hate and envy for POTUS, Trump!!! This guy is not hitting on all eight cylinders and needs to remove himself from public service.
This episode of McCain and other “aged”, incompetent wrecks still in congress is the true reason we, Americans need to immediately enact “Term Limits” for both House and Senate members, Twelve years for Senators & Six years for House members. McCain is just tip of the aged iceberg problem throughout the entire congress, Democrat & Republican alike.
America sorely needs citizen legislators, not professional political hacks, regardless of political party.
If, as the story is told, he was offered early release by the North Vietnamese in exchange for some statements and refused, he was indeed a hero. That was then; this is now. He is doing more harm than good at this point and should be gracefully retired.
The Senator’s health has declined to the point he cannot fulfill his duties of office, and medically he is greatly incapacitated. The doctors can write all the excuses from attending the Senate they want, but the fact remains, he is unable to perform.
