“When Pepe frogs and Kekistan flags were discussed, the New York Times and the like wrote them off as symbols of racism and bigotry rather than rebellion and antiestablishmentarianism.”
This was the money quote for me.
I’ve been waiting for this to happen. I’ve preferred (with some adjustments) to be like a compass and in general maintain the same ‘curmudgeonous’ views that I’ve maintained since the 80’s or so (probably longer). I’ve watched as people ignored reality trying to assign genders inappropriately. They’ve swallowed lies upon lies with the global warming hoax. They’ve tried to use violence and threats of violence from the civilian population to control behavior and thought. They’ve destroyed people’s lives with their bradburian (adds to dictionary) smear campaigns from the media. They’ve used government institutions to thwart grass roots movements.
Now comes a new generation who will infiltrate into the establishment deep state entrenchments. They are going change the atmosphere of those agencies. If the deep state establishment thinks they’re going to be able to control these kids, they haven’t been paying attention.
Right with you. I used to worry about the future. Looks like it is in good hands. Maybe Old Abe was right about fooling people. Maybe the hopes of the folks yearning for freedom just can’t ever really be restrained. Maybe a complex combination of all kinds of things. Refreshing, to say the least. Young people struggling for their Liberty. I love it.
