Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) said Wednesday that she is stunned President Trump and conservatives for attacking three prominent black women.
In a tweet, Jackson listed American Urban Radio Networks White House correspondent April Ryan, fellow Democratic lawmaker Rep. Maxine Waters (Calif.) and Obamas former national security adviser Susan Rice as black women who have come under "attack" by the Trump administration and Republicans.

Jacksons comments come hours after the president told The New York Times in an interview that he believes Rice likely committed a crime by requesting the names of Trump transition aides during an intelligence report.
Rice, who served in the Obama administration, denied Tuesday allegations that she inappropriately unmasked the names of Trump aides names. No reports so far have suggested that Rice broke the law by requesting the unmasking, which has been described as a routine intelligence procedure, and the president didn't offer new evidence that she had.
"I leaked nothing to nobody and never have and never would The allegation is that somehow the Obama administration officials utilized intelligence for political purposes. That's absolutely false, Rice said on MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports."
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) suggested Tuesday Rice was the Typhoid Mary of the Obama administration foreign policy on radio host Hugh Hewitt's show, suggesting that she hurt U.S. efforts abroad in everything that she touched.
Ryan also fell into the public spotlight late last month after White House press Secretary Sean Spicer told her to stop shaking her head in disbelief.
Ryan asked Spicer a question about the Trump administrations ties to Russia, which he in turn accused her of having an agenda.
I appreciate your agenda here At some point, report the facts, Spicer said.
Ryan told CNN she shook her head in disbelief as a response to Spicer, who accused her of having a political agenda.
You're shaking your head It seems like you are hell-bent to trying to make sure that whatever image you want to tell about this White House stays, Spicer told Ryan.
In March, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly criticized Waters's appearance last month after she criticized Trump on the House floor.
OReilly mocked Waters on-air, saying that she wears a James Brown wig.
"I didn't hear a word [Waters] said. I was looking at the James Brown wig. If we have a picture of James, it's the same wig.
O'Reilly later apologized in a statement, saying his James Brown wig comment dumb."
What a foul person she is.
Diddin do no nuffin.
Diddin get h'self checked out by no Dr. to get treatments fo' no case of her Typhoid either.
If she'd gotten herself cleaned up long time ago, maybe she should have gotten a real job.
SJL is shocked, shocked, to find gambling as she shows the lamestream media her winnings.
Buffoon is too incomplete an adjective to describe this slithering packet of Texas slime
To nitpick, it’s missing the preposition “at” before “stunned.” Or “are” following “conservatives” instead.
SO.... Sheila Jackson is saying that WOMEN, especially BLACK WOMEN, should NOT BE TREATED EQUALLY ?
