The Pennsylvania deadline to challenge election results was November 28, a week ago. Even if Hillary or another surrogate wants to reinstate the challenge, they cannot do so because the deadline has passed.

It's over . . . except for the risk of faithless electors. I'd like to think we can relax, but I don't think that would be prudent. I want Team Trump working on the transition, but I also want part of his team working on defense.

President Trump's people should be contacting Trump electors to thank them for their support, see if there is anything they need to feel more secure in the face of threats, and make sure they will vote as pledged. Team Trump should also be contacting Hillary electors and encouraging them to preserve the integrity of the electoral system. A good case can be made that Hillary electors should defect and vote Trump as needed to produce the correct electoral vote totals. Trump's people should be making that case - not that they want extra defectors but that they want the correct final tally if there are faithless electors on either side.
