I think he does know the Constitution and, I would hope, follow it.
But he is a Globalist and I don’t trust him on immigration.
He fooled me into voting for him in Texas and that makes me mad.
I agree with you on his immigration stance.

I believe Cruz knows the Constitution.
By running, he chose not to honor it.
DJT took the crushing brunt of Cruz and his NWO cohorts’ nefarious actions and emerged victorious. No one knows what Cruz is better than our beloved President Trump.
