Personally I expect a final decision on Hillary’s fate will be made by Obama just prior to the Dem Convention. I expect the FBI will not release a report or make any recommendations to indict or not indict until that short period of time.

I expect Obama to make his decision based on a simple political question: Can Hillary win? If he believes she can withstand the publicity from the leaks that are certain to flow from disgruntled FBI sources and still win he will stick with her. In that case there will be no report. There will be no recommendations. There will be no indictmemens.

But if Obama concludes she will lose then I expect him to turn the FBI and the Justice Department loose. The Superdelegates will freely choose to vote for NotHillary and the nomination will go to Bernie or Biden or some other Obama flunky.

You read it here first. Or maybe second or third.

It is out of Obama’s hands. He cannot interfere with an ongoing investigation or it is Obstruction of Justice. He can't do anything with the FBI as he has a 10 year term to be completely independent. It will be up the AG and she will be under a lot of pressure if the evidence is there. If she does not indict then the FBI will leak everything to the press and it will be all out there to see. The proverbial rock and a hard place for them all.
