Nopardons - my husband was Nixon’s dog walker when he moved to NYC. My husband was about 10 years old and would travel down from the Bronx to take the little dog on his walks. He liked Nixon very much. Tricia Nixon attended my college in NYC (several years after me) and everyone spoke highly of Mr. Nixon when he would visit the cafeteria to greet all the day students and shake the hands of the workers. He didn’t like going into the gorgeous dining rooms because they were full of snotty, rich girls! He preferred hanging out with ordinary people.

Nixon was a brilliant man and a good president. And, indeed, he was harried by the left. A good friend of mine and a Nixon-hater in the 50s always said: He was right! We were out to get him! Later on, this friend became a good friend of Roy Cohn and regretted his earlier hatred.

Thank for all of those very interesting stories; especially because most of these people actually knew him.

People REALLY need to know the truth and the hard, cold facts about Mr. Nixon, instead of all of the Commie crap that sadly, most believe is true.
