Do you mean the state recognizes you as a member of a party because you register that way, or do you mean you go to the most local party meetings regularly and are a known supporter?
I used to be a pretty active member of the party in California (don’t laugh), was even elected to a local position and I have a few friends in high places there.
But in this case I am just talking about being a registered member of the party. Hypothetical because I don’t live in Colorado (I no longer live in CA either).
