Cruz has no chance at the nomination, so how is it a big win? Big win perhaps for the fans of a brokered convention.

I won't call this an outright lie, but it is criminally stupid to keep repeating such garbage. Cruz and Trump between them CONTROL the convention. Do you really think either one is going to agree to open up the nomination process to ringers?

The nominee will be either Trump or Cruz; there is literally NO chance that anyone other than these two will even have a chance for their name to be placed before the convention. Rule 40(b), remember?

It will be Cruz on the second ballot - or the first, but not much chance of that.

Second ballot it is. Bank on it.

A brokered convention might be the best plan. Trump did very well when the vote was split 5,10 or 17 ways.

But now that it’s down to three. Trump is looking like he’s in over his head and Cruz is looking like the man.
